Students may chose daily between a main hot lunch item or an alternate lunch item. A cold lunch (sack lunch) may also be brought from home.
The monthly menus are posted on the school website to plan for meals in advance. For children, the school lunch program provides a nutritious meal that contains 1/3 of the recommended dietary allowance of necessary nutrients. For parents, the program offers a convenient method of providing a nutritionally balanced lunch.
