Guidance

Our School Counselor is an integral part of our curriculum.  Our School Counselor presents lessons in each classroom on the 6 Character Counts pillars and the Red Ribbon Week lessons and activities.  In helping our students be positive community members, our school counselor implements and updates the “Paws”itive bulletin board and runs Kindergarten friendship groups.  In helping students grow and learn in all aspects of their being, our school counselor has lunch with students 1:1 or in small groups, as well as assists in preparing and administering Iowa Assessments.
